BURST

Marks the source server as currently sending the initial network burst.

Connection Phases

This message can be used in the following connection phases:

Connection Phase Usable?
Connecting outbound
Authenticating outbound
Authenticating inbound ✔️
Fully connected

Syntax

[:<sid>] BURST [<ts>]

Parameter Description
<ts> The time at which the remote server started bursting. Used for clock synchronization.

Example Usage

Marks server 36D as currently bursting:

:36D BURST

Marks server 36D as currently bursting with a clock synchronization timestamp:

:36D BURST 1234567890
